Italian orienteering also took part at the Champions dinner of the 71st edition of the 3Tre in Madonna di Campiglio. The organising committee of the international orienteering race event 5 Days was, in fact, invited to present a new event dedicated to orienteers from all over the world.

Thus was born, with the official agreement of the FIS SKI WORLD CUP and with the desire to celebrate the historic special slalom of the Alpine Ski World Cup, the 3Tre orienteering event, an event that will always be hosted by Madonna di Campiglio from 2026.

The first ever orienteering competition will be held from 26 to 28 Junein anticipation of the now classic 5 Days, which in 2025 will be held precisely in the charming Trentino resort (5-12 July).

The 3Tre calendar will be structured in three days, during which there will be as many exciting challenges: a Sprint at night on Friday, in honour of the ski format, a Long distance on Saturday and a Middle on Sunday.

At the Gala, the 5 Days Organising Committee was represented by President Mauro Gazzerro, General Manager Gabriele Viale, and Mattia Debertolis and Jessica Lucchetta, Italian orienteering champions of the PWT Italia team.

The evening also saw the extraordinary participation of orienteering legend Jörgen Mårtensson, multiple Swedish world champion, who met up with compatriot Ingemar Stenmark, an Alpine skiing star with an exceptional palmares, including no fewer than eight victories in the spectacular 3Tre.
