In these days, the athletes of PWT Italia are focused on their winter preparation, balancing running, cycling workouts, and orienteering training. Hard work and dedication that brought us to our 30th Elite Italian Championship title in 2024.

Next stop: from December 13th to 15th, some of our athletes will join the national team meeting in Lavarone to review the season and outline plans for 2025.

And speaking of 2025, we’re thrilled to announce two new athletes will join PWT Italia. Stay tuned for more updates!

Il Meeting Internazionale 2Days Lake Garda - Monte Baldo 2024 è stato realizzato in parte con il contributo della Regione Veneto, costituito dalle risorse statali che le sono state assegnate dalla Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri con il DPCM del 13 settembre 2022.

PWT Italia è inoltre entusiasta di annunciare la 2^ edizione del Meeting Internazionale 2Days Lake Garda - Monte Baldo, una due giorni di orienteering che si svolgerà il 7 e 8 giugno 2025 nello scenario mozzafiato del Monte Baldo, nel comune di San Zeno di Montagna. Un’occasione unica per sfidarsi in un ambiente naturale spettacolare, tra i paesaggi incantevoli del Lago di Garda e le vette montane! Presto saranno disponibili le prime informazioni sulle gare e sugli eventi correlati, che arricchiranno ulteriormente questa esperienza.

Combining orienteering with unique local experienc

Combining orienteering with unique local experiences has always been a highlight of PWT Italia events.

This afternoon, we had the delightful opportunity to visit two local gems. We started with a tasting of exquisite organic extra virgin olive oil from @oliodellavalle1, followed by a family-produced Italian wine in @tenutemandrione.

These family-run farms are dedicated to nurturing their estates and their most precious resource: the land. It was a rare chance to experience the wholesome and healthy ingredients that define Italian cuisine.

Some pics from yesterday’s night sprint in Vieste and the stunning Foresta Umbra, the two main locations of the 5 Days Gargano.

The tour continues this afternoon with some extra-sporting activities: a tasting of local olive oils at the “Oli della Valle” farm. For us, orienteering also means exploring the cultural aspects of the area.

Highlights from the fifth and final stage of the ‘5 Days Gargano’ in the picturesque town of Peschici. Athletes enjoyed a sunny day with warm, summer-like temperatures, making for a perfect finish to this thrilling event.

With the 5th stage in Peschici, the 5 Days Puglia 2024 comes to an end, having hosted nearly 400 international athletes. The event not only provided our athletes with the opportunity to enjoy technical courses through the tricky old towns and the Umbra Forest, but also allowed them to experience the cultural and culinary richness of this wonderful region. A special thanks to the @regionepuglia and the municipal administrations of @comunedivieste , @comunepeschici , and @vicodelgargano .

Highlights from the second stage of the ‘5 Days Gargano’ held today in the Umbra Forest with the long race. In the afternoon, participants enjoyed an olive oil tasting at Agriturismo Le Fronde.

After the second stage of ‘5 Days Puglia 2024’, our participants visited the @lefronde_aziendaagricola in Vieste for a special olive oil tasting. We had the chance to taste the local oil, even in combination with ice cream. A unique experience that allowed the athletes to immerse themselves in the traditions of the area and at the same time offered a showcase to promote local products.
